Amazing Race Finale - Portland, OR

I haven’t posted on this site for a while. July 28th to be exact. Wow, five months? Dang. I guess I can throw out the excuse that I got married in August, but still, five months is a long time without a post.

Anyway, enough about me. What I am really excited for is the upcoming finale of the Amazing Race (set to air on December 7th) will be wrapping up in Portland. We did report on this back in May, but it seems time to talk about it again.

I have to say I’m sad Toni & Dallas won’t be making the trip to P-Town. I really wanted those two to pull through last week, but not having money was a tough obstacle to overcome.

Who do you think will win the finale of the Amazing Race? I’m leaning toward Nick and Star, but wouldn’t be surprised the the fratters landed another Amazing Race miracle.

Big Brother - Jessie’s Nominations Stay the Same

Steven had a chance to save himself, but he blew it. It was like he didn’t watch the last season of Big Brother when James saved himself in the same situation by pretty much doing nothing. All Steven had to do was let the others battle it out and wait for them to miss. Instead, he went for the points and was knocked out of the competition.

It will be interesting to see how everything plays out tonight, but I’m certain that Steven will be going home. He isn’t aligned with the right people the way Dan is. In this game, who you align yourself with is one of the most important things you can do.

And how about that fight between Jerry and Libra? Too funny. If you missed it, here is video of the infamous Jerry and Libra Fight:

Project Runway - Jerry is Out

Finally got a chance to catch up on Project Runway last night. Looks like this could be a pretty good season. Daniel and Kelli both came out of the gate with original ideas, but Kelli was clearly the winner.

On the losing side - how did Stella not get eliminated? Her garbage bags looked like garbage bags. I know Jerry’s design sucked, but at least it was a finished design. I’m guessing there was some producer intervention on that pick. Stella will most likely cause some drama during the season and you can’t get rid of a personality like that too early in the season.

Big Brother 10 - Steven and Dan on the Block

Is it just me, or is this season of Big Brother off to a slow start? I haven’t been drawn into any of the contestants like I have been in the past. There isn’t a Janelle, Evel Dick, or even a Sheila. Things will probably change as the season progresses, but right now it just feels slow.

Home…Finally

Finally made it home last night after five days in Atlanta. It seemed a lot longer though. I’ll be updating with new posts throughout the day.

Karaoke Atlanta?

I haven’t turned on the tv since Tuesday night. Unfortunately that means no new tv-related posts. But, I have been having a good time in Atlanta. Been out and about at a few nightspots, Six Flags Over Georgia is rented out tomorrow night, and I’m checking out the Little Five Points neighborhood Sunday before my flight back.

Ended up (after an earlier party) at the Metro Cafe (pretty sure that’s the name). The place was like three-stories high and had karaoke. Don’t worry, I gave Atlanta a little karaoke style (Vacation by the Go-Gos if you were wondering).

It’s nearly three-thirty though, so I need to get some sleep. I just realized I hadn’t posted for a while and wanted to get a little update on here. I’ll be back with a BB10 recap on Sunday when I finally get home.

I have been in Atlanta for the last two days and have been in a loop about the time and the day. Seems I missed Big Brother 10 - whoops. To top it off, the internet in my hotel is terrible. At least my text messaging is working - follow me on Twitter if you want. I’ll post when I have a chance.
