Farmer Wants a Wife

Have any of you seen or heard about the upcoming CW reality show Farmer Wants a Wife? If you think I’m joking, sadly I’m not.
Matt Neustadt is the object of desire on this one. He’s a 29-year-old third generation farmer from Portage Des Sioux, MO.
Okay. I was going to write more about this show and the 10 women competing to win the affection of Neustadt, but I’m just not sure I can. According to Wikipedia, the show premiered in the UK in 2001. Since then it’s gone on to 10 countries, and was the highest rated entertainment show in Netherlands!
Wow. I can’t believe it. Maybe it is because I can’t get into the Bachelor-esque type shows. Or maybe it’s because I don’t really relate to farming. Either way, I don’t think I will be spending my Wednesday nights watching this one (especially since it’s up against American Idol!).
