David Cook Innocent - American Idol
April 8th, 2008 | by superhush |David Cook was on the fast track to winning this contest. But this was not going to be an easy ride and a guaranteed win. Tonight was the night that his trip to the finals slowed down.
Now I like David Cook. He’s my prediction to win. But this week was not his better week. After great performances with Hello, Billy Jean, and Little Sparrow - I was a little let down with this performance.
I do think that David Cook will make it through this week and will comeback next week with a better performance because of it.

We can’t forget how brilliant of a performer he is…..he shouldn’t be judged based on one not so great performance. All the idols were tired, they had a tough week. Give them a break.
Totally agree with you Mae. I just felt he was a little off this week. I’m sure he’ll be back in full force next week.
I totally agree with you guys … they all looked a bit tired and washed out … so I consider this week as an equally disapointing week for all the AI’s competitors …I’m sure David will rest a bit and come back 200% stronger .. he’s a fighter … love ya
