Michael Johns Dream On - American Idol

I’ve been liking Michael Johns more and more over the weeks, but I’m not sure how I felt this week. It’s not that the performance was bad by any means, but it seemed to lack substance. I think this might have come down to song choice. I don’t really see Michael Johns rocking this type of song, and I don’t think he did.

Randy said the show was about finding the best undiscovered talent in America. I don’t think that Michael Johns proved today that he was the best singer in the contest. Simon felt he should have done a little more soul/R&B style. I’m going to have to agree with Simon on this one.
