Survivor April 10th Recap
April 10th, 2008 | by superhush |As I write this I know Survivor hasn’t aired yet on the West Coast. So if it’s not yet Survivor time where you’re at, consider this your spoiler warning.
The big news of the week is that the tribes merge (although we knew that from last week’s previews). The new tribe (complete with new buffs) sat down for a celebration feast.
The merged tribe meant merged belongings: canoes, chickens, and Ozzy? It seems that Ozzy and Alexis have grown to like each other since their time on Exile Island. What does this mean for Amanda? Well she’s not happy about it at all.
In the immunity challenge the Survivors have to hold their breath in a steel cage during rising tide (much like the immunity challenge in Palau). Who wins this one? Irony. Jason wins using a technique Tom used on Palau.
Eliza and Jason worked out a plan to blindside Ozzy. He would give up the “immunity idol” to Eliza and they would both vote for Ozzy. Only Jason has a stick Ozzy carved and not the immunity idol. When they tried to use the “idol” at Tribal Council Jeff tossed it into the fire pit.
Eliza was deemed too manipulative and was voted out 8-2.
Oh…and James ate a bat.
