Models of the Runway
April 15th, 2008 | by superhush |Fresh off their acquisition of Project Runway, Lifetime has announced a new spin-off of the popular fashion show. In Models of the Runway, viewers will get a new take on what it’s like to be on Project Runway, this time through the eyes of the models.
I’m not sure how I feel about this show. A big part of what draws me into Project Runway week after week is to see what the designers are making. I really don’t notice the model wearing the clothes. (the other thing that draws me in is the catty drama). If the show focuses on the model’s opinions of designs and designers, I could be swayed. If all it is about is a bunch of scripted drama and partying, I don’t think I’ll be tuning in.
