Britney to Return to HIMYM

Looks like NPH isn’t going to be too happy with this one. It seems that Britney Spears will be reprising her role as Abby, the dermatologist receptionist. As you might recall, Neil Patrick Harris wasn’t too happy with the stunt casting being done on the show. Fearful it might turn into another Will & Grace, he said he feels the show’s writing and wit can stand on its own.

As far as a date for her return, I haven’t seen one yet. But James Van Der Beek (you know, Dawson’s Creek) will be on the show tonight. More importantly, tonight’s episode features the return of Canadian pop star Robyn Sparkles. You can stream her new song Sand Castles in the Sand here.
