The Shape of Things to Come - Lost

Wow. Lost came back with a bang after it’s brief hiatus. Sadly that bang meant the death of yet another character on the show. Poor Alex wasn’t able to survive a negotiation between Ben and Martin.

And what about Ben unleashing the Smoke Monster on the mercenaries? Crazy. I can’t wait to see what becomes of that. And what about that ending? Ben telling Charles Widmore he is going to kill his daughter? Not sure how Desmond is going to feel about that.

Widmore’s line, “That island is mine, it always was.” - are we headed down the path of more time travel?

• Ben’s Flashforward takes place in October 2005 - One year and one month after the crash of Oceanic Flight 815
• Dean Moriarty (the name Ben uses at the hotel) is the main character from the novel On the Road
• Jack Kerouac (author of On the Road) died on October 21, 1969. Ben is told that the date is October 21
