Lost - Something Nice Back Home
May 2nd, 2008 | by superhush |I didn’t get a chance to watch Survivor last night (double-header soccer game), but I did watch Lost. Not sure what I thought. I’m not a big fan of the Jack-centric episodes, but there was so much else going on I think I’ll let that slide.
The episode takes place in three different areas: the beach, the jungle, and in Jack’s flash-forward. Some things to take note in this episode:
- Jack reads a section of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland to Aaron
- The toy Jack steps on is a Millennium Falcon (Star Wars). Luke Skywalker was raised by his uncle. Jack is raising his nephew (Aaron) in this episode
I’ve heard a lot of people referencing Miles hearing “the whispers” on this episode. I’m not sure though if what he heard were the whispers that we’ve come to known. We’ve been lead to believe Miles can communicate with the dead. Since Karl and Danielle are both dead, it seems to me that Miles might have been communicating with them.
And how about that reappearance of Christian Shepard? Both to Claire and Jack. Awesome.
The show is definitely running at a good pace right now and it will be interesting to see how everything wraps up this season. Especially considering the way Jack talked to Kate about Sawyer deciding to stay on the island. Could Sawyer be the only person offered a choice to leave? If not, why are there more of our Oceanic 815 Losties off the island? What makes them stay?
