Syesha Mercado Proud Mary and A Change Is Gonna Come

It’s not that she doesn’t have a good voice, she just doesn’t have a big enough voice to take on the songs she is singing. Take Proud Mary for example. Tina Turner took this CCR song and made it one of her all-time hits. Syesha took Tuner’s version and turned it into something far less memorable. She’ll be in the bottom tomorrow, but that is no shock for anyone who has known all along this was going to be a David vs. David Finale.
