Britney Spears on How I Met Your Mother Tonight
May 12th, 2008 | by superhush |I really like How I Met Your Mother, and I’m disappointed that the suits are boosting ratings again with another guest appearance by Britney Spears. I guess there are people out there that are only going to tune into the show because of her. As long as HIMYM doesn’t start booking more random guest spots I’ll let this slide. But after watching this little trailer for the Britney Spears return on HIMYM tonight, I’m worried that this will be the downfall of the show:
I think the choice to bring her in was kinda foolish but it wasn’t offensive. I’m not a fan but she was good on SNL as host and her whole life is pretty much an act so she’s got plenty of practice in front of a camera. What I did notice though was that she can’t pronounce the letters “M” or “N”. It comes out as a “B” or a “D” every time like she has a cold. as in “I have a cold id by dose”. Unfortunately, all I could think is that she has burned out her nasal cavity with blow. But, like Patton Oswalt said (kinda), I guess coke has frosting on it because she’s also thicker than she used to be.
