American Idol David vs David Finale

Was anyone shocked that Syesha Mercado went home tonight on Idol? I think the David vs. David Finale has been in the works since before the show went on the air. This is the first time two males have been in the Finale since Ruben beat out Clay in American Idol Season 2.
