Lost - There’s No Place Like Home Part 1

They’re off the island. Well, not everyone (of course), but the Oceanic 6. I’ve always been hesitant about anyone getting off the island and how it would play out, but I gotta say the writers are doing a fantastic job with this one. And speaking of the writers - why a two part episode. Damn them! The end of this episode was so good, but of course the cliffhangers are all intense and having me impatiently waiting for next Thursday to see how this all pans out.
Some things to take note on this episode:
- The DJ at Hurley’s birthday party had a Geronimo Jackson vinyl
- “Membata” is Indonesian for “doubt”
- “New Otherton,” Sawyer’s nickname for the Other’s barracks is also the producers’ nickname for the location
Questions for the water cooler tomorrow:
- What is the Orchid Station used for? (besides moving the Island)
- Did Michael rig the freighter with explosives? I don’t think he did, but if not him then who?
- Who was Ben signaling with the mirror?
On a side note, I’m taking off to Vegas tomorrow morning for my fiancee’s brother’s wedding. I won’t have any updates on the site until Sunday, so have a great weekend! I should have posted earlier that I was off to Vegas and laid down some bets for people ![]()
