Lost Season Finale

Holy crap. I was planning on waiting until tomorrow morning to write something about the Lost season finale (There’s No Place Like Home Parts 2 & 3), but I’m not sure that I’ll be able to fall asleep after two great hours of my favorite show.

This finale did a great job of wrapping up some story lines, while at the same time leaving us wanting more with others (Jeremy Bentham is John Locke?). There were also lots of great little Lost moments (Kate’s phone call played backward says “The Island needs you. You have to go back before it’s too late.”).

I was glad to see that Desmond and Penny were finally reunited. I was also glad to see that Sawyer made it back on shore. I can’t believe that they killed off (or at least appeared to kill off) Jin. He’s always been one of my favorite characters and I was really hoping the grave site that Sun and Hurley visit was more a a facade than an actual memorial.

Of course the season finale left us with some burning questions, here’s a few I have, feel free to comment on any you have (or your theories on any of my questions):

  • Where is the island?
  • When (or was) Charlotte on the island before?
  • Where did Sayid take Hurley?
  • Did Jin survive the explosion? - I hope so
