Before Reality - Tori Spelling

As we roll into the summer and shows either get really crappy or go into reruns, I figured it’s time for a new segment for Superhush: Before Reality. And since I’ve been watching a lot of 90210 and I thought who better to start with than Tori Spelling, or as she was known Before Reality, Donna Martin.
Victoria Davey “Tori” Spelling, daughter of famed television producer Aaron Spelling, began her career guest starring on her father’s tv shows. It wasn’t until Beverly Hills, 90210 though that Tori Spelling became a household name playing one of tv’s most famous virgins, Donna Martin.
As we all know, 90210 was a big hit. But like many people who become famous for a single role, things didn’t work out too well post-90210 for Tori Spelling. Bad news for her, but good news for the reality show circuit. Tori has starred in two reality-related shows, VH1’s celebreality sitcom So NoTORIous and Tori & Dean: Inn Love (which will be called Tori & Dean Home Sweet Hollywood this season).
Celebrity reality shows, once thought of as the end of a career, have come along way over the last few years. It is safe to say that Tori has developed a large fanbase solely off her reality shows, of course I can’t imagine that being as big a fanbase as Donna Martin once had.
