No surprises tonight on Idol as Jason Castro was sent packing. Brooke White may have gotten by an extra week (or two) after she forgot the words to one of her songs, but Jason Castro doesn't have the umpteen number of lives that Brooke had.

I might be a little critical of David Cook, but Baba O'Riley is one of my all-time favorite songs. There's something that just not right with this song being slowed down. Cook sounded great, but this arrangement was awful. And I know Idol is a family show and some lyrics ...

I think Jason Castro's run on American Idol is going to be coming to a close soon. It isn't that he's bad, it's just that the competition is being narrowed down. He should make it through this week fine, as long as Brooke White doesn't have another miracle.
