Tired of those long, drawn-out episodes of American Idol? Yeah, you and everyone else who has ever watched the show. Seems the powers that be have finally heard the cries of the viewers and will cut out many of those segments next season.
In other good Idol news, contestants will continue to be able to play instruments during their performance.
Sounds like good news all around for Idol Season 8.
It’s been about 20 days since I posted something. To be honest, I’ve been out enjoying the sun and hanging out - not really watching tv. Now Big Brother is back on the air with Big Brother 10, so I’ll once again be posting more frequently.

Renny…craziest Big Brother ever?
Reports are popping up all over the internet that an Arrested Development movie might hit the screens in 2009. In an interview with the Times Online, Jason Bateman said the following:
“When it was on TV, if you missed one word the whole third act could be blown for you. And TV is a different experience. You come home and you’ve got to finish a call so you miss the first ten minutes or you get snacky and you go to the fridge and you miss another two minutes, so it’s a different experience to film.”

It seems that Verne Troyer (AKA Mini Me), has a sex tape. TMZ is reporting that Verne shot the sex tape with his former girlfriend when the two were living together. Somehow the tape has been snatched up by a third party who it seems is looking for a DVD deal. Kevin Blatt, the guy who brokered the Paris Hilton video, apparently is thinking tossing around a $100,000 offer from SugarDVD.

We all know Gordon Ramsay as the f-bomb dropping chef, and it seems the Australian Senate knows him for the same thing. Thanks to his dropping over 80 of the f-bombs in a 40-minute episode of Kitchen Nightmares, the Australian Senate is pushing for more strict rules to protect viewers.
In America, Ramsay’s swears are bleeped out, but in Australia they’re kept in tact since the show airs after 8:30pm.

Bravo has confirmed that Project Runway 5 will include judges Nina Garcia and Michael Kors. The show will premiere Wednesday, July 16 at 9PM. Sadly for Bravo, this will most likely be the last Project Runway season on Bravo. Back in April Lifetime Network and the Weinstein Company announced a five-year deal that’s bringing the Peabody Award-winning show away from Bravo.
